Svařování austenitických korozivzdorných ocelí

Abstract

This thesis deals with welding of austenitic stainless steel with the most commonly used methods of manual welding.

In the introduction there are characteristics of basic types of stainless steel, its division according to the chemical composition and subsequent use. The following chapters describe the production of stainless steel in two ways, which are then compared. The manual welding processes and subsequent recommendations are described generally. The most common defects are described in welding stainless steel following welding. An analysis of weldability of austenitic stainless steel is performed subsequently. Finally, an experiment was conducted using unconventional welding method - explosion of stainless steel and commercially pure titanium. These materials can not be welded in a conventional way.
