Abstract

The thesis addresses the expenses for providing public transport in chosen cities. The first part of the thesis deals with the definition of legislative framework of transport services, description of public transport itself and related policies. In the second part of the thesis, a comparative analysis of selected economic performance indicators of monitored public transport providers, has been carried out. In the third part, there is an analysis of expenses of public transport companies for providing public transport services in chosen cities.
