Abstract

The subject of this bachelor´s thesis is a description of selected mechanical and material properties of aluminium wheels in production. The most common mechanical tests to quantify the mechanical and material properties are described here. The connection between structure, chemical composition, mechanical and material properties depending on a heat-treating process is shown. Aluminium alloys are using in automotive and engineering industry. Other utilization is there, where it is economically preferable, for example in mechanical production and products of daily need. That is why is important research and getting to know connections for improving so exacting and precise technologies.
