Hodnocení ukončení I. etapy provozu odkaliště ve Stráži pod Ralskem

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the remediation of the tailings pond in Stráž pod Ralskem, one of the most significant environmental burdens resulting from chemical uranium mining in the Czech Republic. The study analyses the completion of the first stage of remediation, the legislative framework, and technological methods for soil and groundwater decontamination. Special attention is given to evaluating the effectiveness of the implemented measures and their applicability to other environmentally burdened areas. The thesis also explores the future potential of the reclaimed area and its possible integration into economic or recreational use.
