Abstract

This thesis deals with the issue of using the Internet in safety management. The aim of this work is a study of Internet use. The work is divided into two main parts. The first part deals with the analysis of crisis management in the Czech Republic. This section also analyzes the major components of the Internet and its use. The second part deals with information systems that are used in crisis management. Subsequently, this section analyzed and compared web portals to support crisis management in the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic and the German Federal Republic.
