Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of investment efficiency in selected company. This is an evaluation of the investment, the subject of which is the acquisition of large - capacity trams, which replace diesel buses and trams that have reached the end of their service life. This diploma thesis deals in more detail market research, public procurement and cost, benefit analysis. The main goal of the diploma thesis was to evaluate whether the acquisition of new means of transport led to the improvement of services for public transport passengers in Ostrava. In particular, increasing the comfort and accessibility of public transportation for people with reduced mobility and orientation. The result of the evaluation was that the acquisition of large - capacity vehicles met expectations and fulfilled its purpose.
