Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the creation of a Web presentation of the Ema tailing dump and its surroundings in the ArcGIS StoryMaps application from the Esri company. The aim of this work is to process spatial data in the ArcGIS Pro application, which can then be inserted into a web presentation, called a story map. The processed outputs are presented in the form of interactive maps, 3D scenes and animations, which are enriched with narrative text, describing information about the Ema tailing dump and the surrounding area. The main purpose of the story map is to provide readers with interesting and new knowledge about this frequently visited locality, with putting emphasis on the interactivity of the presented outputs. The thesis describes the methods of spatial data processing and creating a story map in the application ArcGIS StoryMaps.
