Abstract
This thesis is aimed at the investigation and evaluation of a braking performance of metal-ceramic brake pads under the specified climatic conditions. The results are then compared with the commercial brake pads. The experiment also deals with the study of microstructure and phase composition of composites and their wear during testing. Based on these findings, it is possible to determine the material with the best braking properties under normal and degraded conditions.
