Abstract
The Bachelo Thetis discourses the mining of bentonite clay and its effects to the enviroment. The first part characterizes bentonite and describes the deposits situated in the area of Czech Republic. Further on the Thesis mentions the versatility of bentonite exploitation in variol sectors of industry. Last part is focused on the effect that the mining has to the environment.
