Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on the design of a study center in the area of Charles University in the Prague 7 district. The main goal is to design an efficient environment that harmoniously expend the urban layout of the campus of Fakulta humanitních studií. The thesis deals with the analysis of the existing environment, identification of student needs and design of an architectural solution. The emphasis is placed on creating an attractive public space and ensuring functional variability that will support active life on the campus.
