Abstract

The thesis is concentrated on setting the digital overcurrent protection. In the theoretical section describes the electrical protection, their definition, individual type and the composition of the protection of the individual elements. Further described herein is the theory of calculation of short-circuit, from identification of conditions for the calculation to the basic formula for calculating the impedance of the individual network elements. In the practical part these findings used to the design of overcurrent protection REF620 substation in an industrial company.
