Dohľad nad subjektmi poistného trhu

Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on regulation of insurance market and its supervision being provided by the Czech National Bank. The aim of this thesis is to describe and evaluate this supervision and to determine development trends in regulation and their focus on the insurance field. Theoretical part describes development of regulation in the Czech Republic including the changes and measures based on entering the EU by the Czech Republic. Further, there are the subjects of insurance market characterized as well as individual supervising activities provided by the Czech National Bank. There are also remedial actions and sanctions described being imposed when deficiencies are found out. Practical part deals with evaluation of supervision effectiveness and the most significant regulation measures are analyzed, which can more or less influence the functioning of the whole insurance market in the future.
