Abstract
Civil engineering is the essential building fabric of every nation's infrastructure, and in recent years more and more pressure has been put on the construction industry in terms of shortening construction time and improving construction work, elements and products. Increasingly, we encounter technological lack of discipline or unprofessionalism and the level of education of people in the field. Technological procedures are an integral part of every construction for which we want to ensure its timely and above all trouble-free establishment. In this diploma thesis I focus on the technological process of foundation and waterproofing of the substructure, where I put emphasis especially on waterproofing. Due to the commonality of this topic, a technological process of two types of waterproofing was developed, namely hot-melt strips and sprayed insulation. The aim of this work is also to compare the financial aspects of both waterproofing and time demands
