Assessment of the Financial Position of the Selected Company by the Financial Analysis Methods

Abstract

This bachelor thesis mainly analyzes the main financial data of Baosteel ,especially from 2010 to 2014, through the methods of horizontal analysis, ratio analysis and common ratio analysis, and finds out the main financial indicators of Baosteel's shares in recent years Changes in the status and trends, to explore the reasons for changes and changes in the inherent logical relationship. With the help of Baosteel's share capital structure change and asset structure change, it is known that Baosteel's shares have passed through the step-by-step analysis and structural analysis of Baosteel's share capital, cash flow statement and balance sheet main items. Reduce the proportion of fixed assets in the total assets, is from the heavy asset operations gradually to light asset operations gradually transition. In addition, in the process of capital structure adjustment, Baosteel has gradually increased the debt ratio in its capital structure to make full use of the financial leverage effect. After completing the above analysis, this paper summarizes the operating status and financial changes of Baosteel.
