Abstract
The thesis is dealing with the assessment of performance of the company TVARSTAV – REAL, s. r. o. focusing on business in the construction industry. The aim of thesis is to assess the performance of the company in a four/year period, i. e. from 2014 to 2017, using selected methods and suggest possible measures to improve its performance. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on the analysis of literary sources concerning the problems of evaluating the performance of the company. The practical part is dealing with the application of the method Balanced Scorecard. Recommendations for improvement are based on the information summary and will contribute the analyzed company to reach better results in the future.
