Abstract

The submitted thesis describes problems of safety railway crossings. The first part presents basic terms, Legal and technical regulations related to safety of railway crossings. There is presented the assesment of statistical development of safety railway crossings. in the territory of Czech republic. Next part of this thesis is focused on existing security railway crossings. The main part of this thesis is focused on distinction security railway crossings in selected countries and proposal measures to reduce accidents in Czech republic. The conclusion evaluates the whole issues.
