Návrh úprav križovatky Olbrichova - Olomoucká - Krnovská - U Jaktařské brány v Opave

Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to propose modifications of the organization and management of the intersection „Olomoucká – Olbrichova – Krnovská – U Jaktařské brány“ traffic in Opava-City to improve the safety and traffic flow. The first part includes the analysis of the current state of the intersection. This includes gathering data about intersection, traffic volumes survey, traffic forecasts, capacity assessment and analysis of traffic accidents and conlicts. The second part presents three various intersection modifications. These are evaluated according to several criteria, at the end is recommended the most suitable solution. This work comprises of text part, graphic part and simulation in PTV VISSIM software.
