Optimalizace procesu žárového zinkování se zaměřením na snižování tvorby oxidů

Abstract

This diploma thesis examines the effect of wiping on the formation of zinc oxides on the uncovered part of the zinc bath during the hot dip galvanizing process of steel wire. It describes the dependence of the amount of these oxides on specific production parameters. Based on the results of experiments, the optimization of the hot-dip galvanizing process of steel wire is proposed, which can minimize the losses caused by excessive amounts of zinc oxides. The calculation of the wiper media clearly showed the advantage of using generator nitrogen with a purity of 95%. The entire experimental part was performed during full operation of the Bekaert Bohumín factory and required complex production planning.
