Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the topic „Evaluation of Selected Parameters of Continuous Casting of Round Billets“. The theoretical part is focused on issue of continuous casting of round billets. Theme is divided into three chapters, which are aimed to characteristic of continuous casting, analysis and conclusions of literary knowledge during the continuous casting of round billets. The practical part devoted to analysis of production and quality parameters during production of round billets with diameter 130 mm. In this part a technology of billets casting and creating of data file is described. Next the data provided by ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s are described.
