Studie defensivní architektury pro fyzickou bezpečnost městského veřejného prostoru

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá defensivní architekturou a zvyšováním fyzické bezpečnosti veřejného prostoru s důrazem na ochranu měkkých cílů. Cílem je studium a návrh inovativních prvků městského designu, které preventivně omezují vandalismus a destruktivní chování. Teoretická část obsahuje rešerši literatury, norem a teorií (CPTED, Security by Design). Následuje komparace zabezpečení ve vybraných evropských metropolích a hodnocení místních rizik pomocí metody FMEA, které slouží k identifikaci a prioritizaci klíčových hrozeb. Stěžejním výstupem je technický návrh multifunkční informační tabule. Ta integruje pasivní bariéru proti vjezdu vozidel (HVM), technologie pro krizovou komunikaci a prvky prevence kriminality. Práce prokazuje, že efektivní bezpečnosti lze dosáhnout esteticky hodnotnými řešeními, která nenarušují sociální funkci města.

This Master’s thesis addresses defensive architecture and physical security enhancement in public spaces, focusing on soft target protection. The aim is to study and design innovative urban elements that preventively mitigate vandalism and destructive behavior. The theoretical part reviews relevant literature, standards, and theories (CPTED, Security by Design). This is followed by a comparison of security approaches in selected European metropolises and a local risk assessment using the FMEA method, which serves to identify and prioritize key threats. The core output is an original technical design of a multifunctional information board. It integrates a passive hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) barrier, crisis communication technologies, and elements of passive crime prevention. The thesis demonstrates that effective security can be achieved through aesthetically valuable solutions that maintain the social function of the urban environment.
