Abstract

The Bachelor thesis is focused on the region The Lachian Gate of Beskydy, which contains the cities of Štramberk, Příbor, Kopřivnice and the municipality of Hukvaldy. At first the thesis specifies the region and the ethnographic division of the Lachian Gate, geological evolution and natural conditions. Then the thesis is focused on the historical evolution of particular cities and famous personalities and products in the region. In the next part the thesis deals with natural, culture and technical objects of interest, which this region offers. A two-day fact-finding tour for students of secondary school in the field of tourism is suggested in the last part of the thesis.
