Abstract
The Charge distribution on electrode surface can be determined by using the constraint extremum of the electrostatic field energy function. For this work, the total value of the charge was chosen. This problem is derived from the boundary element method. The surface of the charged body will be divided into geometrical elements which do not overlap. The matrix of electrostatic power, by which the elements affect mutually, can be calculated by the numerical quadrature. Some elements contain improper integrals, especially in cases, when they share a mutual edge or a vertex in a set position, or when they are identical. The aim of this work is the removal of singularities in integrals and their calculation by the Gauss-Legendre quadrature.
