Abstract
Diploma thesis aims to analyze causes and consequences of the Europe’s Debt crisis from the perspective of economic theory and praxis. Theoretical part output is a summary of achieved findings in a financial and economic crises theory as well as a sum of processes which have caused recent financial and debt crisis. Furthermore the processes of banks credit expansion were described by the form of an account analysis. In a practical part of the thesis was created the econometric model to research the mutual dependence of relevant economic level quantities. Models application to analyze the relationship between national saving ratio and national disposable income did not confirm Keynes’s saving theory validity in researched time period 1995-2011 for the chosen sample of countries. Based on the analysis results were afterwards performed a discussion and compiled a modified saving curve with wider macroeconomic commentary and derivation. Model was, according to validity tests, declared as functional and ex-post applied. Among other practical part outputs is ranked a banking system reform, which is based on 100-percent reserves. This reform comes from an analysis carried by Mises and Hayek and is completed with its impacts on current economic system in Europe commentary and answers to a possible objections.
