Abstract
The thesis deals with the business strategy of the company Stavebniny DEK a.s., which is one of the dominant companies with building materials on the Czech market. The thesis consists of the theoretical part, which defines important terms and methods for the practical part of the thesis. In the practical part, analysed company Stavebniny DEK a.s. is introduced and theoretical knowledge to develop selected methods and indicators of business strategy is used. The results of the analyses are the basis for defining the current strategy and market position. The last part of the thesis consists of proposals and recommendations that follow the evaluation of analyses to improve strategic market position. The conclusion of the thesis contains a summary of the whole work.
