Abstract

The subject of the diploma thesis is the research of possibilities of processing the biodegradable component of mixed municipal waste by anaerobic digestion method under laboratory conditions. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals with the problems of anaerobic digestion, including BRO, biogas stations, biomass, digestate or biogas. Part of the practical part consists of two experiments. During the first experiment, the biogas and methane production of the sub-fraction of mixed municipal waste fraction to the particle size of 50 and 100 mm was verified. The main experiment was focused on creating a physical model of dry anaerobic digestion of the semi-continuous mode of biodegradable composite municipal waste in two different simultaneously operating reactors.
