Abstract
The goal of this work is the analysis of aluminum and its alloys. The paper describes the aluminum from its origins, such as production, sources of raw material and its utilization. There is also described tagging and alloy types accordind to ČSN and ČSN EN. The presented paper deals with the heat treatment and describes the various types of heat treatment for aluminum alloys. The last part is focused on a sample of aluminum alloy and its macroscopic parameters.
