Abstract
The subject of this thesis is the Marketing Research of New Business Opportunities with Selected Non-Feffous Metals, prepared in terms PROMET CZECH Ltd. The thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the methods of marketing research and time series forecasting with focus on statistical models. The practical part of this thesis is focused on the data observation from the selected non-ferrous metals, particularly copper and nickel, and processing the time series, compared with three models. The practical conclusion of the evaluation of critical chnges in the major suppliers from the market in term sof proportions and the world view of the possible behavior and our markets. Furthermore, at the conclusion outlined proposals to acquire new markets for selected non- ferrous metals.
