Abstract

In this thesis I have analyzed the current state of education in a selected organization and I have focused on the evaluation of a more extensive educational program titled “How to become a senior“ aimed at promoting the employee development. In the theoretical part I have defined the terms related to education, the cycle of corporate education and its phases and those related to development of employees, all this on the basis of my study of literature plus the study at the university. The practical part is elaborated on the basis of Kirkpatricks multilevel (four levels) model for evaluation of education. For the evaluation of the first level of this model I used the questionnaires on the basis of which I was able to identify the participants reactions to the training program. The interview with the participants in program and with their direct supervisors was used for the evaluation of the second and third level of the model which concerns with learning and behaviour. Based on the analysis results I have formulated proposals and recommendations to streamline the educational program that will be implemented in the future.
