Abstract

We spend a lot of our time indoors and the quality of air has influence on human health (sleepiness feelings, loss of concentration, burning eyes and headaches). And health is without any doubt the most important aspect of our life. Experts in this field agree that air quality is important and has direct influence on human health from both short and long-term perspective. The control systems will be much more complex in the future, so there will definitely be a request for demand control ventilation systems (control on the basis of relative humidity, concentration of CO2 or simple control system connected to light switch or move sensor). Such systems are available even today, but the price is so far too high to the system to expand. The aim of this thesis is to design an apartment house with mechanical ventilation systém. It has 3 stories with flats and a basement with parking places and a restroom.
