Systém pro sběr diagnostických dat z průmyslového robotu UR

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the collection and processing of diagnostic data from the UR5e industrial robot by Universal Robots. The aim of the thesis is to create a modular system that enables the collection, storage, and visualization of selected operational data of the robot while communicating over a wireless network. The thesis deals with the theoretical foundations of industrial robotics, the issue of industrial robot diagnostics, and methods for acquiring operational data from the UR5e industrial robot. Based on the acquired knowledge, a desktop application was created in Python that enables communication with the UR5e robot through the RTDE interface, real-time visualization of selected data, and their storage in CSV files and a database. The solution also includes data collection using a socket buffer, in which measured samples of the robot’s operational variables are temporarily stored on the robot side and subsequently sent to an application running on a computer. This method improves sampling regularity during wireless data transmission.
