Abstract

The goal of diploma work is target to create suggestions for strategic improvement of company. It refers to a small company which has a provision of accommodation and catering as one of its objects activities. Strategy as a relevant aspect for company’s future position has big importance for each of companies. It is created in line with company’s vision, commission and goals. For creating suggestions there went out particular analyses which were used in this work. Theoretical part was devoted to issue of small and middle sized companies, competitivenes, strategy, strategical operating, strategical analyse and methodology used in work. The third chapter is composed by company’s characteristic. In the fourth chapter there were used particular analyses – PEST (SLEPTE) analyse, Porter’s analyse of competitive strengths, financial analyse and the last one was SWOT analyse which came out previous analyses and factors subjective advised by owner. The fifth chapter was intented on creating suggestions and recommendations for the company. An epilogue in the diploma work is the last chapter.
