Analýza a návrh úprav na křižovatce silnic II/324, III/32226 a III/34030 v Dražkovicích

Abstract

This Bachelor thesis solves the issue of road intersection II/324, III/32226 and III/34030 in Dražkovice. Part of the work involved carrying out and evaluating traffic surveys based on which all the necessary traffic-engineering characteristics were identified and the traffic forecast determined in the year ahead. The status quo has been assessed at capacity for existing and prospective traffic demand intensities, and micro simulation transport models have been developed for both traffic demand states in the PTV VISSIM programme. In order to improve the safety and fluidity of traffic, a variant design of modifications has been implemented. All designs include drawing specs according to the range of modifications. The proposed variants were assessed in terms of throughput and viewing ratios. All proposals have been assessed at capacity for prospective traffic intensities and micro simulation transport models have been developed in the PTV VISSIM programme. The aim of this work is to propose a solution that improves safety and traffic flow at the junction.
