Projekt ekonomické optimalizace provozu zoologických zahrad v Olomouci a v Ostravě

Abstract

The work describes the history, management and development of zoological gardens in Olomouc and Ostrava. It also focuses on the comparison of selected economic categories.The aim is therefore introduction of both zoos, with their activities, history, present, and especially with the management with the creation of steps to increase visitor attraction. The work is divided into three chapters. The first is aimed at the Zoological Garden in Olomouc, the other at Ostrava Zoo. Both follow the same procedure that could lead to adequate assessment of the differences. In the first phase describes the very existence of zoos and the course of its development until now, after that it focused on the period during the years 2004 - 2009 and economic indicators. Last, the third chapter is devoted to current events, garden plans in the near future and in the end are designed themes, with which it could increase the attractiveness for turists or improve visitor services.
