Abstract

The subject and objective of the Bachelor's thesis on Hotel Service Innovation through the Canvas business model is to carry out an evaluation of the current market position of the company under investigation and to subsequently develop partial analytical methods to obtain relevant information needed for the implementation of the proposed innovations. Above all, it is an analysis of the business environment that surrounds the business and the consequent blending of this information into the Business Model Canvas. The first part of the bachelor's thesis defines the basic concepts that have been used to develop the practical part. The content of the theoretical part is therefore descriptions of basic concepts, namely enterprise, entrepreneur, business model, definition of business model and more detailed description of directly applied business model type, namely Business Model Canvas. It also includes descriptions of the analytical methods used to properly understand the company's environment, such as PEST analysis, Porter's analysis of five competing forces and SWOT analysis. The introduction to the practical part of the bachelor's thesis is the basic information and characteristics of the business under examination. The following points define the basic building elements of the Business Model Canvas, which were analyzed by monitoring and evaluating data directly from the business, by completing the visualization of the entire canvas. The business model Canvas is followed by the aforementioned analyses of the environment of the business. The summary and all proposals and recommendations will then be described separately in the last chapter. The conclusion of the bachelor's thesis speaks volumes about the progress of the analysis of the studied enterprise.
