Abstract

The main goal of my master thesis is to translate theoretical knowledge about establishing a family business as a limited liability company into practice. The thesis is structured into two main parts. The theoretical part is dedicated to fundamental theoretical knowledge about entrepreneurship and specific aspects of family businesses, focusing on their definition, strengths and weaknesses, and succession process. The practical part is divided into three sections. The first section focuses on the application of theoretical knowledge about establishing a limited liability company and provides a detailed description of the company formation process, including related costs. The second chapter of the practical part contains a business plan with all necessary aspects, such as marketing mix analysis, competitive analysis, and financial plan. The final, third section of the practical part focuses on the development of a family protocol, which represents a key element in the successful functioning of a family business.
