GPS hra pro mobilní telefon

Abstract

Tato práce se zabývá vývojem herního serveru a mobilní aplikace s názvem On The Run využívající zjišťování polohy pomocí GPS. Server je naimplementován programovacím jazyce Java SE a mobilní aplikace v Java ME. Aplikace „On The Run“ čerpá z popularity dnešních GPS her a přináší nové herní principy. Návrh hry byl inspirován dvěma hrami, radioamatérskou hrou „hon na lišku“ a deskovou hrou „Fantom Staré Prahy“. Práce obsahuje také popis použitých technologií, návrh, realizaci serveru a mobilní aplikace využívající GPS a jejich vzájemné komunikace.

This work deals with the development of both a game server and a Java ME mobile game called On The Run, which makes use of GPS-based positioning. The server is implemented in Java SE programming language. The mobile component is written in Java ME. "On The Run" idea was derived from the popularity of current GPS games, and provides new gameplay rules. The game was inspired by two distinct games, the game "HAM radio fox hunting" and the "Phantom of Old Prague" board game. The thesis also contains a description of used technologies, description of analysis, design and implementation of both the server and the mobile application their communication protocol.
