Detekce dopravních značek v obrazech pomocí obrazových příznaků

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to detect traffic signs using images in car that are equipped with cameras. With this system, we can increase road safety and can also be used to navigate self-driving vehicles. This thesis is divided into theoretical and actual implementation of traffic sign detector.

The theoretical part describes general image features and classifiers that could be applied in this problem. In its own implementation the functionality, accuracy and speed of the traffic sign detector were experimentally verified. This section describes the steps in creating a traffic sign detector. In the final chapter there are problems that can occur by introducing this application into full operation and also the pros and cons of this system.
