Abstract
This bachelor thesis is focused on the assessment of the competitive position of a sole trader in the food service activities. The main objective of the bachelor thesis is to monitor competitors of the enterprise Květinová Café Galerie Petra in the branch of accommodation and food service activities and to help find weaknesses which have to be eliminated and then propose appropriate ways to minimize bottlenecks and then increase profits, which is the main purpose of business. This thesis analyzes the macro and micro environment. The macro environment is analyzed by SWOT and PEST analysis and the micro environment is analyzed by Porter's Five Forces analysis. Based on the results of the analyzes, suggestions and recommendations for enterprises Květinová Café Galerie Petra are at the end of this work. They offers practical advice and tips on how to increase their competitiveness and become a stronger competitor amungst other companies in the industry in the area.
