Abstract

The main goal was to create a new or implement an existing monitoring system into network infrastructure. I applied well-known Cacti monitoring system that is interconnected with the existing information system by using Cacti’s scripts. The second main goal was to implement a helpdesk with e-mail, web interface and telephone access. I adopted Request Tracker for administration request and Trixbox IP PBX with interactive voice response system and connected this solution with public telephone network.
