Abstract
The aim of the thesis is to describe telecommunications masts, classify them into different species and their comparison. Then it is designed one of variants. Part of the work was also performing research outdoor, during which was visited or looked several telecommunications masts, some of them served as an observation towers.
In this work we provide design of the supporting structure of cantilever truss mast. The mast carries several telecommunications antennas. Designed structure was assessed at the ultimate limit state, serviceability and fatigue. Design and assessment of the mast is documented the loading calculation, dimensioning of beams and joints, assessing the limit states and drawings.
