Abstract

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the structural design of an axle for a small vehicle. The theoretical part provides a detailed analysis of axle classifications, an overview of suitable materials for their production, and a description of individual structural components. It also includes a review of selected axle designs used in small vehicles available on the market, including examples from the Formula Student competition. The practical part is dedicated to strength analyses, a comparison of design variants, and the development of the final axle design.
