Abstract
Bachelor work on the topic Waste Sorting in the company OZO Ostrava s.r.o. is about the basic legislative issues for the operation of waste management companies and the waste theory. After that the waste which Ostrava city collected into the containers for recycling is analysed and also there are added some suggestions and recommendations to increase recycling.
In this work research the recycling rate among the region of the Czech Republic is compared and also there is a comparison between the Czech republic and European Union states.
