Abstract
The aim of this diploma thesis is to create a suitable technological test for determining the fluidity of copper alloys cast into plaster molds while using various mold and casting temperatures. The theoretical part of this work deals with copper alloys from alloys with a high copper content, through brass, to bronzes. Furthermore, the technology of lost wax casting and the creation of a wax model is described in this work. Another topic is plaster casting, which describes the properties of plaster, production of plaster molds and casting in plaster molds. The last chapter then deals with technological tests, especially tests for evaluating fluidity. The practical part describes the production of a model of technological test of fluidity from the production of silicone molds for waxes, through the casting of wax and the assembly of a wax model, to the creation of plaster molds and casting of the alloy. At the end of the practical part, the measured fluidity of the test castings is evaluated.
