Problematika migrace z Ukrajiny do vybraných států Evropské unie

Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of migration, which has recently played a key role in the European Union, especially in the context of the war in Ukraine. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to characterize the migration situation of selected European Union countries (Czech Republic and Poland) based on the analysis of available data, including a comparison of their legislative measures in the context of the development of migration flows from Ukraine. In addition to the introduction and conclusion, the bachelor thesis consists of three main chapters. The first chapter defines the basic theoretical background in the field of migration. The second chapter focuses on the historical development of migration flows in Europe and the evolution of EU migration policy. The third chapter deals with the analysis of the legislative framework and the development of migration from Ukraine to Poland and the Czech Republic. The methods of description, analysis and comparison have been used in this thesis. The results of the thesis contribute to a better understanding of the causes and consequences of migration and allow comparing the level of migration and the effectiveness of migration policies between countries.
