Vývoj regionálních disparit v krajích České republiky

Abstract

This thesis deals with the development of regional disparities in the regions of the Czech Republic. It presents the theoretical background, such as the definition of regional disparities, their classification, and measurability. Besides, it also analyzes the causes and impacts of regional disparities. Work will then be further engaged in the development and analysis of regional disparities in three areas of economic, social and territorial. The overall contribution of the thesis is the finding that substantial disparities have caused and are causing a positive or negative development of regions.
