Abstract
The goal of this diploma thesis is to describe, in detail, the working of the Emergency Call Center - 112, to define possible shortcomings and to propose solutions for elimination or restriction of these shortcomings. This diploma thesis focuses on Emergency services call center that is located in Ostrava in the building of the Integrated emergency center. Furthermore, the thesis covers the identified shortcomings that mostly consist of the use of dated technology and two solutions for these problems are proposed. The practical part of this diploma thesis is dealing with the deployment of a loadbalander for answering emergency calls.
