Abstract
The baccalaureate work deals with personal aspect evaluation of Ostrava Metropolitan Police.
It defines the concept of human resources in public administration, which is all that concerns man and his work in the organisation, including what influences worker´s performance. It describes the activities of the personnel department, which is a department specializing in human resource management, providing professional management and site personnel in this area, providing special
services to managers and individual employees. It also deal the evaluation of employees. Evaluation is a tool for aligning the interests of managers and their subordinates to meet common challenges to achieve the set objectives. The evaluation is also related to the remuneration that rewards employees for their performance and is also a source of motivation.
Aim of this study is to evaluate the staffing of the Ostrava Metropolitan Police by category
of employees, elements of personal management and the costs of staffing.
