dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce se zabývá porovnáním rychlosti mapového serveru GeoServer při přístupu k PostGIS a ArcSDE. Popisuje použitá data, hardware, software a jeho instalace a nastavení. Dále se podrobněji zabývá WMS službou, publikováním prostorových dat pomocí GeoServeru a jeho konfigurací a importem dat do datových skladů PostGIS a ArcSDE. Poslední kapitola popisuje jednotlivé testy, které byly provedeny WMS Testerem a jejich vyhodnocením.cs
dc.description.abstractThis bachelor's thesis compares the speed of the GeoServer map server when accessing PostGIS and ArcSDE. The thesis also describes the employed data set, hardware, and software with its installation and setting. It then further considers the WMS service in detail, publication of spatial data with the help of GeoServer, its configurations, and import of data into PostGIS and ArcSDE data warehouses. The last chapter discusses individual trials carried out by the WMS Tester and their outcomes.en
