Abstract
The crucial target of this thesis is to capture the actual state of a chosen meandering part of the riverbed Odra using a terrestrial 3D laser scanner, followed by processing the obtained spatial data into visualizations using a number of specialized software. This thesis also describes the methods of 3D laser scanning, using the Leica ScanStation C10 device, including the functionality of software which is for observing the obtained data. Part of this thesis is focused on other currently used methods for monitoring spatial changes in the riverbeds shape. An inseparable part of this thesis is the familiarization with the problems basis and influence on erosion of river courses, depending on the shape of its internal and external fluvial shapes, even of the surrounding formed shapes.
