Abstract
This work is focused on types of steering angle sensors. There are described some basic principles of angle measurement and types of steering angle sensors used in automobiles. Next part includes some test measurements of selected rotary angle sensors and designed universal solution for steering wheel measurement on prototype vehicles. The test measurement results are shown in graphs.
